Biography
I am currently pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Nutrition and Dietetics and earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. During my undergraduate studies, I worked in a research laboratory and had the opportunity to work under a sports dietitian, experiences that sparked my interest in evidence-based nutrition and inspired me to further pursue sports nutrition at UMN.
My primary interests focus on how nutrition supports athletic performance, recovery, and long-term health. I enjoy evaluating current research and translating scientific evidence into practical strategies for athletes. I am particularly interested in the intersection of sports nutrition with gastrointestinal health and eating disorders, and how nutrition professionals can support both performance and overall well-being.
Outside of school, I work as a barista and enjoy running, strength training, pickleball, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors.
