Biography
I am a PhD Candidate in Food Science focusing on Food Engineering areas of research at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I am investigating the functionality of dairy ingredients using advanced and rapid evaluation techniques. I received BS in Chemical Engineering and MS in Food Engineering, with diverse experience in managerial, supervisory, R&D, food production, safety, and quality management system roles in the food manufacturing companies. Demonstrated successful achievements in the manufacturing-supply program with numerous non-governmental organizations (NGOs) including World Food Program (WFP), Save the Children, Lutherans, Samaritan’s Purse, Goal, MSF-Belgium, Concern etc. in the production and supply of ready to prepare Supplementary and Emergency Nutritious Foods and fortified edible oils for vulnerable groups. Certified Lead Auditor in QMS ISO 9001:2015 with superb knowledge and experience of Food Safety Management System and Quality Management System (Establish, successfully accomplish, realize, maintain, and continuously improve ISO: 22000:2005 FSMS and ISO: 9001 QMS, SOPs), and implementation of KAIZEN principles. Notable experience in Food Extrusion Technology/Oil seed Mechanical Extraction/Solvent Extraction/Edible oil Refinery/Seed cleaning technologies/Fluidized bed Technologies/Supplementary Food Processing lines. Strong skills in conducting feasibility studies for successful implementation of food manufacturing projects and operation of the plant. Devise mitigation strategies and provide appropriate solutions for problems associated with the processing, safety, and quality of foods. Perform duties based on Key Performance Indicators, give attention to detail with magnificent management and organizational skills and participate in team activities to improve the level of research and professional development.
