Dr. Abby Gold was recently selected as chair-elect of the Healthy Food, Active Communities Council for the Association of Public Health Nutritionists (ASPHN). ASPHN provides state and national leadership on food and nutrition policy, programs, and services. ASPHN’s Healthy Food, Active Communities (HFAC) Council works to strengthen policy, environmental change, programs, services and evidence-based practices to promote healthy foods and active communities through the development of public health nutrition leaders and the collective action of members nationwide
