Speedy Science 2023 

Are you excited about your research and want to share what you’ve been doing with others?!? The University of Minnesota’s Phi Tau Sigma chapter is happy to announce the annual Speedy Science competition, happening for the 3rd time via ZOOM on 

Thursday, March 23rd 2023!! 

This competition provides you a wonderful opportunity to present your research (or will do in the future) to a panel of judges and event attendees in an engaging and approachable manner. The challenge…you only have 3-minutes to do it!!! The competition encourages you to think critically about the most important aspects of your research, to practice communicating scientific concepts to a broad audience, and to think about how you can get others excited about your research. This year the live event is open to Speedy Science sponsors, industry professionals, students and professional Phi Tau Sigma members. Currently, we are accepting abstracts from food science students at the University of Minnesota (UMN), South Dakota State University (SDSU), North Dakota State University (NDSU), University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison), Iowa State University (ISU), University of Nebraska Lincoln, and University of California-Davis.
