Mitchell Maher and Ray Miller finish first and second, respectively, in the artistan cheese category at the Minnesota State Fair. 

University of Minnesota Department of Food Science and Nutrition Professor Ted Labuza has been selected to serve as a member of the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Food Advisory Committee.

Zach Metz, a food science graduate student in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition under the tutelage of Professor David Baumler, was named a MnDRIVE Global Food Ventures Fellow for the 2015-16 academic year.
