Dilpreet is a master’s student in Food Science working in Food Engineering lab and Schoenfuss Dairy lab. She graduated with a B.E in Food Technology from Dr. S.S.B. University of Chemical Engineering and Technology, India (2018). Her research focuses on investigating the prebiotic properties of polylactose (a soluble dietary fiber) produced by different extrusion parameters. Dilpreet has worked with Milk Specialties Global and Agropur as a R&D intern, where she worked on numerous protein-based applications. She is also involved in multiple student organizations and likes to participate in product development competitions. In her leisure time, she enjoys baking, listening to podcasts and traveling.
