The seminar features Dr. Prokopios Magiatis and his seminar entitled Oleocanthal and Olive Oil Phenolics: New Clinical and Experimental Facts for their Protective Role on Human Health. 

FSCN recently received its five-year approval from the Institute of Food Technologists for its undergraduate food science program.

Former FSCN professor Koushik Seetharaman received the AACCI Excellence in Teaching Award posthumously at the organization's annual meeting in Minneapolis on October 20.
