Ray Miller and Mitchell Maher, employees in the FSCN Pilot Plant, had a successful showing in the Minnesota State Fair Cheese Contest.
Miller won the Artisan Cheese category with his Baiser de Niege with Caraway, scoring 99.500. Maher's Herb and Garlic Gouda placed third with a score of 98.783. There were 22 total entries in the category.
In the Miscellaneous Cheese category, Miller earned fifth place with his Santo Paulino, scoring 98.333. A total of 17 entries were in the category.
